Predarossa is an area of extraordinary beauty, perfect for both trekking and trail running. This glacial plateau serves as the starting point for the ascent to Monte Disgrazia (3,678 m) and for reaching Rifugio Ponti (2,559 m). After meeting a hiker during the ascent, I found myself completely alone in Predarossa, surrounded by a stunning alpine environment, with only the sound of flowing water breaking the silence. HIKE DETAILS Location: Val Masino, Predarossa (SO) Elevation: 1,950 m Elevation gain: ~800 m Total duration: 7 hours round trip (with snow) Difficulty: E (Hiking) How to get there: In winter, the road is closed, and the hike starts from Valbiore.
