Watch Fabrice Belzacq take his massive and gorgeous 1/6th scale Sukhoi Su-30 XL RC jet from Skymaster for a really breathtaking scale flight at Osca Jets 2025! This model aircraft is easily one of the coolest jets you can find out there! aviation The model is a Skymaster XL Su-30 that Fabrice painted and weathered himself, featuring thrust vectoring nozzles and powered by two Xicoy X240 engines, weighing an astounding 41kg and measuring a mind boggling 3.8m in length and 2.46m in wingspan! Fabrice flies it on a Jeti DC24 transmitter, with Jeti receivers and a CB400 control box. The jet also uses a Bavarian Demon Cortex Pro gyro for stabilization and a VSpeak air compressor for the pneumatic systems. All the servos are 50kg/cm torque models from Savöx, except for a couple of 70kg/cm ones from Futaba that drive the massive tailerons. Despite being such a large plane, this model is very easy to fly and capable of very low speed flight and short landing distances, under 150m when necessary! These awesome scenes were captured at the Osca Jets 2025 international jet meeting at 'Club Aeromodelismo Osca' in Igriés, Huesca, (Spain) during the Friday training flights. The breathtaking mountainous backdrop truly adds a cinematic touch to these videos! Osca Jets is the latest addition to a series of successful events that attract over 80 pilots from all over Europe and a multitude of jet aircraft.
