The 525 XC weighs only 163 kg and sports a strong, liquid-cooled four-stroke, single-cylinder engine, which features an extremely wide usable rev range. The engine’s power is sent to the wheels through a close-ratio, five-speed transmission which is paired with a hydraulic clutch. The KTM 525 XC’s stopping power is assured by front four-piston fixed-caliper brakes from Magura, which bite into two huge wave discs.
