Join this channel to become a MEMBER and get access to perks and all EXCLUSIVE CONTENTS:    / @dentcarenepal   I have shown case of root canal treatment done on a grossly decayed molar with distolingual cusp fracture. 22-year-old female came with the chief complaint of pain in right back region of the lower jaw since 1 month. The pain was on and off, moderate to severe, exacerbated on eating hot and cold foods. No prior treatment or dental check-ups done. Intraoral examination revealed grossly decayed 46 (right mandibular permanent first molar) with fractured distolingual cusp. An IOPAR (Intraoral Periapical radiograph) was taken. A provisional diagnosis of Chronic Irreversible Pulpitis w.r.t. 36 and lingual coronal wall buildup followed by Root canal Treatment and full coverage crown was advised. Lingual wall built with composite resin was done prior to root canal treatment. Kept her on follow-up after 2 months for crown placement if asymptomatic. 21 days have passed, no pain till now.
