On 16 April 2020, Kalpavrikshagiri Maharaj and Sushilgiri Maharaj of Juna Akhada were lynched to death by an armed mob along with their driver Nilesh Telgade near Gadchinchale Village in Palghar district of Maharashtra, India. What makes the gruesome incident worse is that it happened in the presence of the police who not only abdicated their responsibility but acted like cowardly onlookers. The entire incident is emblematic of how Hindus have been treated by the Indian state since it’s inception in 1947. The policemen are representatives of the state and the hapless sadhus represent the condition of the Hindu society. We have been mobbed from every side by hostile forces. The Indian state, that we had empowered to give us equality and security, is not only turning a blind eye but has become an active participant in our persecution. I explain all that in this video with examples.
