Here we present the Mickey Mouse Club serial: Annette, Episode 0: An Introduction which originally aired on February 10th, 1958. Starring Annette Funicello as Annette McCloud, the story is of a poor, orphaned country girl who moves into town with her upper-class aunt and uncle. She quickly makes friends with a boy named Steve and some other girls in town, except one, Laura, who likes Steve and is a bit jealous of Annette's friendship with Steve. The plot centers around this bit of jealousy as well as some very entertaining glimpses of teenage America in the 1950s.
