Ambulance drives away ILLUSIONIST EMERGES AFTER 24 HOURS UNDER WATER Illusionist Criss Angel emerged from a phone-booth-sized tank in New York's Times Square early Tuesday after spending 24 hours submerged in water. Several dozen people crowded outside the windows of the World Wrestling Entertainment gift shop to see Angel complete the stunt which ended about 8:30 am local time (1230 GMT). Throughout the stunt, coaches closely monitored 16 oxygen tanks lined up to keep Angel breathing. One fan said she had been waiting for five hours to see the illusionist emerge. After climbing out of the tank, Angel gave brief comments to reporters, thanked the crowd and then apparently collapsed. He was rushed to a waiting ambulance and taken to a nearby hospital.
