Watch 11 new videos submitted by Rhode Island's naturalist film-makers. This is the reel shown at the in-person festival held February 21, 2026 at Rhode Island College's Gaige Hall. Once you've watched this whole reel, you can VOTE for your favorite in the People's Choice Awards. To VOTE, follow this link: https://tinyurl.com/2026RINatureVideo... Voting is open until midnight, Sunday, March 8th, 2026. Winners will be announced via the Survey's e-news and social media. Sign up to receive e-news at https://rinhs.org. The People's Choice winners receive real cash prizes this year furnished by the generosity of the Peter H. Warny Conservation Fund. Also, everyone who casts a ballot will receive, by email, a small token of our appreciation. NOTE: This year the live Festival began with a showing of a special feature, the Rhode Island Premiere of "Undertakers," the story of the American Burying Beetle, Rhode Island's official State Insect, as told by Zoë Sliwinski and Colleen Chen with a unique style like nothing you've ever seen before. The Roger Williams Park Zoo's own Lou Perrotti was an advisor on this film. "Undertakers" does not appear in the show reel and is not part of the People's Choice voting, but you'll definitely want to watch it on Sliwinski's own YouTube channel HERE: • Undertakers 2026 Video Festival Program with timings: 2:30 Tracking the Endangered American Burying Beetle Corrie Ignagi and RWP Zoo 4:55 Peace and Plenty Community Garden BioBlitz 15 Minute Field Trips 11:00 The Handsome Trig Elaine McDonald and Jim Fitzgerald 13:37 Woodies and Monarchs, Oh My!
