Abraham Lincoln's Tomb at Oak Ridge Cemetery

(8/18/2021) Not too often have I seen the pretty sights of the Midwest. The Oak Ridge Cemetery in particular has tons of nice green grass and hills to give some diversity. This is the location of the tomb of the 16th U.S. President: Abraham Lincoln. Inside is not only where Lincoln is buried, but also his wife Mary Todd Lincoln, and their sons. Plenty of Abe Lincoln's speeches are shown as plaques inside. One of them is his second inaugural speech in 1865, which is of course bitter sweet due to his assassination in April by the hand of John Wilkes Booth. Lincoln is without a doubt considered one of the greatest U.S. Presidents of all time, since he helped our country through a Civil War. On my way out, I stopped at the donation box to make a donation. I gave $5.01, so I'd drop in the two pieces of U.S. currency with Abe Lincoln's face on it: the 5 dollar bill and penny. Random fun fact that you might not know: Nancy Hanks Lincoln (Abe Lincoln's mother) is a blood relative of Tom Hanks. Fittingly enough, in Toy Story 2, Jessie says this line: "Sweet mother of Abraham Lincoln!" when she first meets Woody. Anyways, I visited this with my parents, and Melody and Carl. This video also has me show my nephew Beckett onscreen, who was asleep at that time.
