14 months ago, Paolo Mantolino brought his stock 992-based GT3 to Batangas Racing Circuit (BRC) and clocked a 1:39.32 — despite not having driven the track in over a year. The lap was good enough to secure the #2 spot on Time Attack Manila’s Top 100 list. But he wasn’t finished. Now equipped with Dundon Motorsports coilovers tuned by Simple Racing Solutions, a fresh set of Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 R tires, and more seat time, Paolo returned determined to go quicker. He didn’t just beat his personal best — he set a new BRC lap record in the process. And it could have been even quicker. A small mistake at the final corner likely cost him a shot at dipping into the 1:37s.
