Day 41| Part 2: Santiago de Compostela! |

Part 2 of my day arriving into the beautiful and sacred, holy city of Santiago. I went souvenir shopping, to drinks to celebrate with pilgrim friends, some who will be my lifelong friends, and to the most beautiful mass in the world, then to dinner again to celebrate. I want to thank all the beautiful pilgrims I have had the honour to interview. You light up my path. I also want to thank all I have had a meaningful interaction with, many of whom I have shared a laugh or a smile with and of course whom I have walked with. I want to thank the Spanish community of the Camino too. And to you my robust and intelligent, sometimes harsh, 99 % kind, but always supportive and with a healthy point of view, yourube and instagram viewers. You teach me things and fill me with joy, and curiosity and compassion. It’s hard to vocalise the inner journey when the physical one was so strenuous. But I will in time and if you stick around here you might catch those moments. This is not my last video on the Camino. I will be posting one more video of my trip to Finistere and Muxia, one of my last morning in Santiago, one of my two days in Paris when I got sick. 🤢 There will be a gear review / unpacking video and then a video a week after that where I can answer any questions you may have.
