As per my video of AV367, there was another bus in the thumbnail, and that was none other than RV540. New in 1999, it worked in a few garages, those being Phibsboro, Harristown, Summerhill & Ringsend, being the last bus in the Dublin Bus fleet to carry roller blinds since flipdot had taken over. Upon withdrawal, it also appeared to be with a few different private operators, Jerry Nolan, James's Coaches, but currently it operates with Coynes Coaches, Allenwood and is looking well for 26 years old!! I made it my duty to make sure I got at least one trip on this as in this day and age, a spin on an RV is very, very rare to get. This brought back all sorts of childhood memories for me, in particular my trips on Route 78A, which was an RV route right until the end in 2011. 540 is sounding and running brilliant, the classic ZF RV whines and retarder sounds, you just won't get a bus like them again and that will always be the fact!
