I Retired at 50 and Now We’re Leaving The United States | My Honest Story

I just retired at 50 years old… and it’s way more emotional than I expected. In this video I share my honest early retirement story: my last day of work, packing up my tools, looking back at all the jobs I’ve had (military, carpenter, welder, program manager, business owner), and what it feels like to suddenly not have a “next job” to go to. My wife Marijune and I are preparing to leave the United States and spend a year in France with our two dogs. We’ll be taking intensive French lessons, exploring the country, and figuring out who we are without full-time jobs and a house full of kids. This is the beginning of that journey.
