Logging in Newfoundland’s Northern Peninsula! Johnny’s trucking & firewood W900s in Action!

This one is a special one i got the chance to go on my first ride along in a logging truck. Our family friend Johnny owns a trucking and firewood business on the Westcoast of Newfoundland. Myself along with my grandfather traveled up the coast with Johnny into the backcountry of Newfoundland where they’re actively logging.where I got to witness the trees being cut by John Deere processors, brought out to the landing in a John Deere forwarder and seeing a old John Deere log loader load the truck. To drive a coast line in a W900 logging truck was something special and to watch Johnny drive it even more to see someone in there element where it just comes “natural” and seeing a truck climb a steep grade up a mountain fully loaded with logs is a sight to see. Due to travelling through the provincial park of Gros Morne Newfoundland drones are prohibited but in the community’s within the park you can fly there. So if you’re wondering why there’s not much aerial pov going down Newfoundlands coast that’s why.
