🌑 The Two Wolves Around an ancient fire, a young seeker once asked a shaman a question that many of us have asked ourselves: Why does my heart feel divided? The old man smiled and shared a story that has echoed through many traditions. Inside every human being live two wolves. One carries anger, fear and destruction. The other carries kindness, wisdom and peace. Many people believe the answer is simple — that one wolf must defeat the other. But the shaman revealed a deeper truth. The shadow within us is not an enemy to destroy, but a force that must be understood and integrated. When we learn to bring compassion to the parts of ourselves we once rejected, something powerful happens. The wolves stop fighting. And when they walk together, we become whole. Through tribal drums, warm acoustic melodies and ceremonial chants, “The Two Wolves” tells a story about the balance between light and shadow — and the peace that emerges when we embrace both. Because true strength is not found in denying the darkness. It is found in learning how to walk with it. 🔥 Sit by the fire. 🌲 Listen to the story. 🐺 And ask yourself… which wolf are you feeding? LYRIC: [Intro] I once sat beside a fire With a shaman old as stone. The night was deep, the forest wide, And I thought I walked alone. [Verse 1] He watched the sparks climb to the sky, Like spirits learning how to rise. Then turned to me with quiet eyes That seemed to see through every lie. He said, “Inside your chest two wolves remain, One carries love, one carries pain. One burns with rage, sharp as a blade, One walks in peace, unafraid.” [Pre-Chorus] “They circle slowly in your soul, Each one fighting for control.” [Chorus] Two wolves running through my mind, One is wild and one is kind. I tried to silence what I feared, But both were always standing here. Two wolves walking in my skin, One holds rage, one holds the wind. And every choice I make each day Decides which one will lead the way. [Verse 2] I asked him then beside the flame, “Which wolf survives inside this game? Which one will rise and take the throne, Which one will die and turn to bone?” The old man laughed, the fire replied, As shadows moved from side to side. He shook his head and spoke again, With words that broke the cage within. [Pre-Chorus] “The question, child, is not who wins… But why you think one must end.” [Chorus] Two wolves running through my mind, One is fierce and one is kind. I tried to hide the darker face, But shadows never leave their place. Two wolves breathing in my chest, One unrest and one at rest. And every road my spirit takes Awakens both with every step. [Solo] [Bridge] He said, “The dark one waits outside your grace, Not to destroy the human race. The strength you fear, the fire you hide, Is power standing at your side. You starve the wolf you do not trust, And wonder why your bones feel dust. But feed them both with truth and breath — And neither one will walk toward death.” [Verse 3] I sat there long beside the flame, And slowly understood the game. The wolf I chained within the night Was only asking for the light. [Final Chorus] Two wolves walking side by side, No more war for me to hide. Shadow tempered into grace, Light reflected in its face. Two wolves guiding who I am, Through every loss and every plan. Not enemies that tear apart — But guardians of a single heart. [Outro] The old man stirred the fire’s glow And spoke the truth I came to know: “The wolves were never meant to fight. They were meant to walk with you Through the night.”
