Here on the MOA Garage we are dedicated to showing you, when possible, the hard way to do things :) What we have here is something which sounds simple - swapping the springs on the stock DESA shocks - but is a bit more complex once you dig in. It's far more than the two T55 bolts holding the shock in at either end. Wes and George walk you through removing the shock, getting the stock spring off and installing the upgraded Touratech (Hyperpro) spring. In this video, they do the front (see Part 2 for the rear at • Touratech Progressive Spring Kit Install o... ). Unfortunately, the front shock doesn't fit into the spring compressor they had on hand, so some improvisation was required. Visit Touratech USA's website (https://touratech-usa.com) to find out more. Don't hesitate to call them to ask questions about your particular application. The spring kit is available in standard height or 20mm lower for inseam-challenged riders.
