Blackstar HT 1R blues tones

I really like the very small Blackstar HT-1R combo. It only has a small 8 inch speaker but it sounds quite big. Loads of gain on the overdrive side but the "clean" side can give some of that plexi-type gain which is perfect for blues and classic rock. This clip is with a Fender Road Worn 60s Stratocaster with Lundgren 50s formvar pickups. I think one tube-watt is really good for home use and it can be really loud if you want. Perfect grab-and-go amp if you want to jam with a friend. No need for pedals ;-) Filmed with a simple Canon S-95 digital compact camera.
