A video clip has emerged showing a couple being allegedly thrashed by the police inside a police station in Mumbai's Andheri suburb. The video went viral on the social media. The police however, have denied the charge. In the video, a young couple are seen being manhandled by men in police uniform. It claims to have been shot inside the police station in suburban Andheri. Andheri Police has rubbished the charge saying that the couple were in an inebriated condition and had a scuffle with each other on the night of November 1 and that the police only tried to intervene and pacify them.
