Small nuances in throat positioning and pitch produce interesting responses in both instruments when executed simultaneously. The meditative nature of the piece leaves the performers with the task of surrendering and fully immersing themselves in the soundscape. Feeling the importance of small changes in the context of the final sonic image is the key to creating the complexity which this work brings. Lara Willewaldt's text, with its infinity and semantic depth, sculptured the composition into the form it encompasses today. The sentences constantly change the context and the words their meaning. This principle is used as a figurative base to building the accumulative tensions throughout the piece. Each artist uses their own voice as an additional instrument. This sound specificity functions as a frequency glue and fills the general sound space. The mezzo-soprano's line is in the foreground throughout the composition, as it leads each listener to meditation through the words.
