Welcome to Day 9 of our 11 day holiday on board Norwegian Cruise Line's Breakaway cruise ship! We're Bob and Moose, a couple of Disney-obsessed adventurers from Yorkshire, UK, who just love to get out and about and explore! 👀 On the cruise, we travelled to: Cannes, Livorno (Florence), Civitavecchia (Rome), Naples (Pompeii), Ibiza and Palma de Mallorca. We started and ended the trip in the stunning city of Barcelona! On Day 9, we started the day (as usual) with breakfast at the Garden Cafe buffet. There really was a decent selection for breakfast at the buffet and we enjoyed it immensely. It was a little grey and cold to begin with on this day, but we still enjoyed some time relaxing on the deck before we docked in Ibiza. When we arrived in Ibiza, the weather took a turn for the better and we had glorious blue skies and sunshine! We took the NCL shuttle bus to the Ibiza old town, where we grabbed some gelato 🍦, climbed to the top of the Castell de Eivissa 🏰 and saw the most stunning views of Ibiza. We then enjoyed a potter around the shops and streets of Ibiza, but there wasn't loads to see around here so we returned to the ship and enjoyed more of the gorgeous weather out on deck 8 - The Waterfront. In the evening, we dined at La Cucina - the specialty Italian restaurant on board. We had exceptional service AND food at this restaurant and were able to eat outside in the Waterfront seating area with beautiful views. To end the evening, we went to the Breakaway Theatre to watch the Syd Norman's cast perform their Rumours show for the VERY FIRST TIME in the theatre!
