The Miond🌊: Why I Designed in this handpan the Bass to Face You

Experience the Miond🌊 Handpan, designed by Doña Barça and built by Marco della Ratta. Discover the revolutionary Root-Layout and the healing Patria (B Rus) scale. It is more than an instrument. It is an answer. 🌊 Today, I get to share something that has been ripening within me for a long time. A vision I carried within me. It once began in a different form with a wooden bottom – and has now found its true, final shape. This is the birth of the Miond🌊. Miond🌊 is a completely new concept, born from my longing for deeper connection and realized through the masterful craftsmanship of Marco della Ratta (@marcodellaratta). This project is a union of my 25 years of experience in sound design and his incredible skill in building instruments. Our logo is the seal of this union: It unites the vastness of the Cosmos with the power of the Earth. While I developed the design, the unique Root-Layout, and the Patria scale, Marco is the one who breathed physical life into this vision. What makes the Miond🌊 unique: My Root-Layout: Three powerful bass notes (Dings) facing towards you, communicating directly with your center. This first Miond🌊 carries the name "Patria". It is my extended B Rus scale – a true masterpiece of balance. It acts as a bridge between the healing depth of Minor and the radiant expansion of Major. Universal, open, and floating between light and shadow. When I play Patria, I don’t just hear her. I become one with her. From the head to the belly. From the outside into the root.
