On board a Woodlawn bound R142A 4 train from New Lots Avenue to Woodlawn

Seen here is a ride on a 4 train, operated by R142A, bound for Woodlawn via Eastern Parkway Local. Due to structural work in the Clark Street tubes, 4 train service was extended to New Lots Avenue all weekend long, making local stops along Eastern Parkway. 3 train service was suspended all weekend long. 2 train service wasn’t running to Brooklyn as it was rerouted to South Ferry via the 1 line. 5 train service replaced the 2 line in Brooklyn as it ran to Brooklyn College-Flatbush Avenue all weekend long. In this video, I caught me an R142A, coming into New Lots Avenue from Van Siclen Avenue. Although in this video, there were a lot of mishaps along the way. The R142A that was supposed to depart had to be isolated, so I took the other R142A coming into the station and took it to Woodlawn. Also, I lost some footage after leaving Kingston Avenue due to an interruption, but I continued along the way until we got to Woodlawn. I can do better next time when I get a better chance of doing another reroute video of a 4 train. In the end, it did make another run out of Woodlawn to New Lots Avenue in the freezing cold night, even with the homeless riding it out since there was heat on the trains to have them stay warm.
