Pinjore Garden, also known as Yadavindra Gardens, is a historic 17th-century Mughal-style garden located in the town of Pinjore, in the Panchkula district of Haryana, India. Spread over 100 acres, it is a fine example of the classic Mughal charbagh layout, featuring symmetrical patterns, terraced levels, and a central water channel flowing through the garden. Built during the reign of the Mughal emperor Aurangzeb by his architect Nawab Fidai Khan, the garden was later restored by Maharaja Yadavindra Singh of Patiala, after whom it was renamed. The garden is adorned with lush greenery, ornamental flower beds, cascading fountains, and pavilions with Mughal and Rajasthani architectural influences. At night, it is beautifully illuminated, enhancing its charm. Pinjore Garden is not only a visual treat but also a cultural hub, hosting the annual Pinjore Heritage Festival and other events that showcase local crafts, music, and dance. It remains a popular tourist destination and a serene getaway that reflects the grandeur and aesthetic sensibilities of historical India.
