TOP 10 AVIATION MOMENTS of March 2021 - Antonov AN-148, Ilyushin IL62, ATR42, Boeing 747 ... (4K)

I was able to film a few russian and ukrainian planes in march. Especially the Antonov An148 of the Ukraine was a special movement at Düsseldorf. In this video it can be seen departing to Berlin. A few years ago Rossya used to operate the An148 on a regular basis to Düsseldorf but it was switched to an Airbus A319 in 2015. Another fantastic and rare plane I filmed this march was the Ilyushin IL62 of Rada Airways which is a company from Belarus. The IL62 is one of the last operational civil IL62` s worldwide and it` s always a treat to see this classic aircraft from another era. The Ilyushin operated a cargo charter flight to Rangoon and continued back to Maastricht where I was able to film it a second time, but this time during beautiful evening sunlight. Despite these two rare aircrafts my personal highlight of the month definitly occured at Frankfurt. There are just a handful of Boeing 747 Classics still flying and I was able to see two of them taxing next to each other at the same time. What a moment! The operator of these B747` s is Geo Sky, a company from Georgia which uses two former British Airways B747-200`s which were converted to Freighters. Also note the ATR42 of Kam Air which is a company from Aghanistan. The ATR visited Mönchengladbach Airport to get a maintenance check at RAS Aviation Services. Mönchengladbach casually gets interesting ATR` s at the small airport because Rheinland Air Service is well known for high quality aviation maintenance.
