If King gets these buffs in Tekken 8, he could become extremely broken. Right now King is already a very strong character when played by skilled players. His throws, pressure, and punishment tools make him very dangerous in the right hands. But imagine if the developers gave him a few specific buffs in future updates or Season 3. For example, if FF1 became a counter-hit launcher, it would massively improve King's pressure game. Another huge buff would be making Sidestep 2 (SS2) a launcher on normal hit.if it launched on normal hit, it would reward King players even more for good movement and reads. It would turn sidestepping into a much bigger threat and give King a very scary way to punish mistakes. Because of this, I personally think the developers might consider buffing SS2 in Season 3 or in a future update. Even if they don’t make it a full launcher, they could still improve it in some way, like increasing its damage, combo potential, or frame advantage. If changes like these ever happen, King’s pressure, movement punishment, and overall damage output would become much stronger.
