Welcome! In my first bona fide YouTube video, I describe my language story and path in the eight languages that I speak. For years, language learning was a passion of mine that was a little bit under the radar for me. One day, I had the idea of starting a channel where I could talk about everything that I had learned in my journey as a language enthusiast and polyglot. After over a year of debating with myself of whether I should or not, my desire to reveal my secrets of language learning turned out to be stronger than my "what ifs". I hope this video inspires you to learn that language you have always wanted to pick up, but most importantly, I hope that it serves as a confidence boost. As I tell you how I learned the languages that I speak and what I did, I hope you take away the fact that learning a new language is something within anyone's capabilities. After all, if it wasn't, we wouldn't even be able to become monolingual. Anyone that already speaks even one language can add another — or several! — to that roster.
