TScore - Setting up a new Amazon Fire tablet

The Amazon Fire tablets have proven themselves to be great for use as TScore judge's scoring devices. TScore supports most Android tablets and phones for direct entry of deductions when scoring trampoline, DMT and tumbling competitions. This guide takes you through the initial setup of a new tablet to make it suitable for use at your events. Note that it deliberately does not set a PIN or password, as this would be inconvenient to use in a multi-user environment. (By the end of a season, the PIN would be known by dozens of people!) If however, you intend putting personal information etc on the tablet, then your SHOULD set a PIN of course. I do recommend associating the tablet with a different (dummy) Amazon account from the one you purchased it with so your main account details - and ability to purchase from the device - are not exposed. Simply go to Settings - My Account and de-register, then register with the alternative account. When you do this it does take you through a shortened setup again, but you don't lose your settings. You will have to rename the tablet again though.
