Manufactured by Pipistrel, the Nuuva V300 is designed to transport up to 661 pounds of cargo, with the ability to deliver goods to hard-to-reach areas with ease. What sets the Nuuva V300 apart from other drones is its hybrid-electric VTOL design. The drone relies on eight electric motors, powered by in-house batteries, along with a rear cruise engine. This setup enables the V300 to climb to 8,000 feet and travel distances of up to 186 miles while carrying full payloads. But it gets even more impressive when carrying lighter loads. With just 110 pounds of cargo, the V300’s range soars to 1,553 miles, making it an ideal solution for long-distance deliveries in various environments. Its nose-loading feature is a game-changer, allowing for easier and more versatile cargo handling. The drone can accommodate over 100 cubic feet of cargo, including up to three cargo pallets. In its recent test flight, the Nuuva V300 performed a successful hover flight, controlled by a fly-by-wire system with triple redundancy, ensuring safety and stability.
