If you do not take into account several heavily armored and therefore very slow giants, compared to all self-propelled anti-tank guns at the level, the AMX 50 Foch World of Tanks has an average safety margin, however, the same applies to the basic visibility of 380 meters. If you pay attention to the booking parameters, then everything is very good. Of course, our rear, sides and roof are very weakly armored, but in the frontal projection the AMX 50 Foch's armor characteristics are impressive. Since the entire frontal part is a solid slab, the reduction here exceeds 300 millimeters. However, there was a corrosive “BUT” here - we have an impressively sized rangefinder installed on the roof, and when shooting here, most of the guns will cause us damage.
