This short video takes me to two locations in Soho in Birmingham, Soho Road Station on the Soho Junction to Perry Barr Junction on the Chase Line or Walsall Line was opened by the London North Western Railway on the 1st April 1899 but closed in 1941 as a economy measure during the Second World War, and never re-opened. The other Station was Soho and Winson Green Station which is sited on today West Midlands Metro Tram Stop as Soho Benson Road, which opened on the 14th November 1854 by the Great Western Railway but latest a lot longer than Soho Road, station closed on the 6th March 1972 but reopened in 1999 as a tram stop. Both Stations are sited on live railway lines which still see trains passing through. filmed 21st July 2019
