Hello, developers! Welcome to DevKit Weekly. This time on DevKit Weekly, we’re going to take a look at the PSoC 4000T CAPSENSE Prototyping Kit from Infineon. This board is the prototyping kit for the PSoC 4, Infineon’s family of scalable MCUs with an Arm Cortex-M0+ CPU. The new PSoC 4000T series provides an upgrade path for the 4000 and 4000S designs to move them to fifth-generation HMI and CAPSENSE technology, with an ultra-low power touch HMI solution based on an integrated “Always-On” sensing technology. Infineon has improved performance in the 4000T to enable modern UI solutions, better liquid tolerance, and more robustness and reliability in harsh environments. It’s a micro controller with standard communication options and timing peripherals. Infineon says its fifth generation CAPSENSE and multi-sense HMI technology are purpose built for low power applications like wearables, hearables and other smart, connected IoT products that need great performance and power efficiency to enable next generation of user experience. This Prototyping Kit is an amazing choice for any engineer or developer looking to work on a prototype for any wearable like smart watches, smart glasses, AR/VR glasses, or smart earbuds. It’s also set for low-power battery-powered smart home devices like thermostats, robotic vacuums, smart locks, remote controls, and smart speakers, or even appliances and peripherals like range hoods, coffee makers, microwaves, ovens, printers, and access controls. We encourage you to check out one of these prototyping boards at Infineon.com (full link in the description) and explore all the possibilities. If you want to win one of your very own, Infineon has generously made this one available for you to grab! To enter the raffle to win, click the link and fill out the form. We’ll keep the form up for 30 days and then you’ll be notified by email if you win! Please like and share this video and make sure you’re subscribed so you never miss an episode of any of our shows.
