Ingredients: Shrimps (500g) Rice (2 cups/ 400g) Peas (¼ cup / 37g) Onion (½ cup/ 75g/ 1 small) small diced Spring onion (2 tablespoon/ 1 stem green area only) chopped in thin rounds Carrots (¼ cup/ 50g/ 1 small) small diced Garlic (1 teaspoon/ 4g /1 large clove) finely chopped Ginger (1 teaspoon/ 6g / small piece) finely chopped Oyster sauce (1 tablespoon) Black pepper powder (½ teaspoon) Salt (½ teaspoon) for frying the shrimps Salt (1 teaspoon) to boil the rice Soy sauce (2 tablespoons) Sesame oil (1 teaspoon) Oil (4 tablespoon) to fry the shrimps and onions Slicing & Dicing: Chop the garlic (1 teaspoon/ 4g /1 large clove) finely chopped Chop the ginger (1 teaspoon/ 6g / small piece) finely chopped Chop the onion (½ cup/ 75g/ 1 small) small diced Chop the carrot (¼ cup/ 50g/ 1 small) small diced Chop the spring onion (2 tablespoon/ 1 stem green area only) chopped in thin rounds Preparations: Take the rice (2 cups) and put it in a bowl and add enough water to fully soak the rice and leave it for 30 minutes After 30 mins strain the water and wash the rice thoroughly and keep aside Cooking: Now take a medium size pot and put 1.5-liter water and bring to a boil on medium heat Now add the washed rice along with the salt (1 teaspoon) and let cook for 15-20 minutes or until the rice is cooked Now strain the water When the water has been strained then spread the rice onto a dish and let cool down for 1 hour Take a fresh pan and put 4 tablespoon oil in it and bring to heat on medium flame Now add the shrimps to the oil and fry for 3-4 minutes or until the water has completely dried off Add the salt (½ teaspoon) and black pepper (½ teaspoon) during the frying process When cooked remove to a dish Now using the same pan with the leftover oil add the onion and fry for 2-3 minutes or until they start to turn golden on the edges Then add the ginger (1 teaspoon) and garlic (1 teaspoon) and fry for 30 seconds Now add the peas and carrots and fry for 2 minutes Now add the boiled rice to the pan and mix for 30 seconds Now add the shrimps and mix Now add the chopped spring onions (green area) and mix Now add the Oyster sauce (1 tablespoon), Soy sauce (2 tablespoons) and Sesame oil (1 teaspoon) and mix the pot Cook for 10 minutes on low flame Now turn off the flame and garnish with spring onions and let rest for 5 minutes Bon Appetit Time Stamp: 00:00 Introduction 00:10 Ingredients 00:43 Slicing & Dicing 02:09 Preparation 02:22 Cooking #shrimpfriedrice #asianfusion #secretrecipe #cheftips #asiancuisine #stirfry #chinesefood #ricerecipes #cookingvideo #restaurantquality #tastytutorial #recipevideo #cookingtutorial Disclaimer: This video is for entertainment and educational purposes only.
