This is a video about the reality of the trading business for a retail trader. Everything is based on our own notes, thoughts and experiences. This is a video where the goods are on the table, there is no fluff or unnecessary filling, and no marketing. Your process of trading needs to be boring, like many other disciplines out there. There are plenty of other ways to have fun, serious people are not in this for the thrill or to post on twitter. 2. Having a risk management plan is way more important than you think. We explained how emotions can impact our ability to stay true to our risk plan and overall process. 3. There is no trade off for experience, developing a solid methodology takes a long time and there will always be room to improve or adapt. In this section we gave basic examples but gave context around how long it should really take to understand a method on a deep level. It took us around 12 to 24 months trading the same method to really develop it to a level that we would deem as solid and there are still challenges to overcome. 4. Emotion is very much present in this business and it is recommended to have a system in place to learn about your triggers and resolve unnecessary emotions.
