A Harvey ST-1500 crosscut table is a nice addition to a table saw, allowing a full sheet of plywood to be crosscut on a standard table saw. Harvey makes a similar crosscut table for Sawstop, which is sold under the Sawstop label. Unfortunately, the arm of the crosscut table might be in the way for rip cuts of boards that are longer than four feet, so in those cases it is necessary to remove the crosscut arm. The crosscut arm must always be re-squared to the blade every time it is reinstalled, which could be a time-consuming process, as a very small deviation from 90 degrees could result in 1/16” or more error when crosscutting full sheets of plywood. This video shows a few ways to speed up the process, including a method that takes advantage of an inexpensive new miter gauge that has a 16” long aluminum extension fence.
