The issue: Although electronically compatible, the Unleashed D200+ does not physically fit the D800. Until we make a new product for the D800, it is possible to modify the casing of the Unleashed D200+ by removing some plastic on one corner, so that it will fit the D800. Some customers have successfully used knives and files to grind off this corner, at least one customer broke his Unleashed trying. Melting is a safer method, and we will honor warranties if you use this method of modification. For a small fee, we will do this modification for you.
