Sharing a fun and easy slow stitching project idea to upcycle an old glasses case into a slow stitch style sewing kit. #slowstitching #slowstitch In this video I show you how you can add scrap fabric lining to your case and also include a holder for your scissors plus a sweet Suffolk puff or yoyo embellishment on the outside of your case. I show you the highs and lows of adding the lining including how yo fix when things go wrong and what to check in your own glasses case before commencing. I then showed how I use fabric glue to attach to stitched piece to the glasses case and how I measure the batting and fabric for the base piece of the glasses case. In future episodes I will show how to make a miniature needle book and miniature Victorian style pin cushion to go inside my sewing kit.
