Alternative Careers Series: Jana Malinovská, MD, BSc

This series aims to explore the different careers graduates can take to the classical clinical pathway (eg; working in hospital/clinics) Our debut speaker is MUDr. Jana Malinovská, BSc. She is a medical advisor for some top pharma companies in addition to being a researcher and a private addiction counsellor. After graduating from the Second Faculty of Medicine, she started her career in clinical research as a medical monitor and clinical research associate before moving to medical affairs where she works now. Her specialities as well as the scope of her research are type 2 diabetes and addiction. She regularly publishes in both national and international medical journals and speaks at diabetology conferences. So come join us as she speaks about how one can get into these careers, how they compare to working at hospitals, how much they compensate and more! It was hosted by Aviral Chandel (UIMS Media Lead).
