Madness, The English Beat, The Specials, you can even throw in XTC from their early days. "One Step Beyond" was sort of the song that catapulted this genre into the mainstream. I think the first time I heard it was at a Jr. High Dance and I remember just how lively everyone got when it came on. Of course, they have some other greats like, "It Must Be Love," and "Our House," but something about this one sticks out. I wanted to cover this song first and if the vibe is right, I'd love to also do one of their other two hits. We'll see... On a side note: I found out that you can plug in your GoPro and record! I don't know how or why I didn't know this before, but now that I do know, I am all for shooting in 4K. I tried to do so before but it would just kill the battery. I literally have like 12 GoPro batteries plugged in at different areas of the house. Anyway, this video is in 4K @ 60hz and I hope that from now on, I'll be shooting in a higher resolution.
