What's better than a polarising filter? A super cheap DIY polarising filter!!! In this video I show how to 3D print a simple holder for a polarising filter for a SWIFT SW380T. So, how to make a polarisation filter for your microscope? The two filters go on top of the light source and on the objective, without the need of opening the optical path of the microscope, so, well, less dust contamination. However this works only with low magnification because you need a long working distance objective. So it's ok for the 4x and 10x, but impossible for higher magnification.
