Ever wonder what you could make out of the textured, scrubby yarn available at craft stores? In this video, I knit a small scrubby on a standard 4.5mm knitting machine (Brother KH 930, but any standard machine could be used) using every other needle (EON) from 20L to 19R, tension 8, 40 rows. The scrubby is about 4" square and would be perfect for cleaning dishes... OR scrubbing and exfoliating dirty feet. BTW, the loops in the middle occurred when I didn't keep the yarn snug as I went back and forth. I was feeling a bit lazy and the kids were a bit rambunctious, so I just cut and knotted them.
