Most of the horse training we see today is based on shutting down pressure. In this video I am sharing a few suggestions for you to teach your horse to touch a target with his nose in exchange for treats. In a few words we are using positive reinforcement instead of negative reinforcement to teach the horse to do something we want. Having an animal that voluntarily and happily touches a target with his nose is of major value, because where the nose goes, the rest of the body will go as well.
