2024 Presidential Election Historical Diary - Harris Supporters

With the 2024 Presidential election now past us, perhaps this might be a good time to document the thoughts and feelings of regular ordinary citizens. This week, we feature supporters of Kamala Harris. What did they think of the events of the last five months? Click the link below for this week’s episode of The State of Greater Western New York Report to get a sense of real history. We employ a different style in this showing with a roundtable discussion. Hank Stone and Paul Rudney are part of a discussion crowd from West Bloomfield, NY. Neither of these retirees has had careers as professional politicians or political analysts/consultants. In that way, they more closely represent the ordinary citizens who happen to have supported Kamala Harris’ presidential campaign.  Of note, they should be classified as “Never-Trumpers” rather than “Democrats” because they are not necessarily registered as Democrats. In the show, they explore their reactions to events as they unfolded from just before the infamous Biden-Trump debate in June 2024 through the results of the 2024 election. This is recorded for the purposes of documenting a contemporary historical record that future historians can use when they study the 2024 presidential campaign.
