THE MOST FUN IVE HAD BATTLING IN YEARS! Great League FT Shadow Pidgeot Swampert & Diggersby

Welcome back to the channel. For many seasons, now I have not enjoyed the open Great League. This format has been very RPS with lots of trianers opting for alignment based fast move pressure pokemon, making battling very boring and often frustrating. Season 22's move update seems to have eliminated a lot of that. However, as someone who's played since day one, I often lack motivation or ideas on what to run. I asked in my last video for team suggestions, and mystictemplar07 suggested a team that peeked my interest. He suggested a triple shadow team featuring Pidgeot Swampert and Diggersby. a flyer double ground strategy would certainly suit my play style as I often run a lot of ABB style teams. Shadow Pidgeot, aka the boom bird, is a pokemon. I've really enjoyed shoutcasting. However, I didn't even have built. Today, that changed, I invested an elite fast tm to give Pidgeot its legacy quick move of gust. Pidgeot also received a buff this season. However, this one might have slipped under the radar. Pidgeot also has the legacy move of air cutter, a 35 energy move doing 45 damage with a 30% chance of a 1 stage atatck boost. Air cutter also allows Pidgeot to consistently reach a charge move after only 3 gusts, making this former clunky Pokemon reasonably spammy. Swampert is a pokemon i have famously called the GOAT in the early seasons. However, it has since been outclassed. This season, it got access to Sludge meqning Swampert now has 2 very good 40 energy charge moves. Will this allow Swampert to relive ifs glory days? well, there is only 1 way to find out ! Diggersby will be opporating as the safe switch looking to bait out the opponets best ground type counter, giving Swampert the best chance of sweeping the backline. Today, battles were honestly incredible. I can't remember having more fun in the great league for many years. if you're looking for a fun yet powerful team, this one is for you. sit back, relax, and enjoy the show.
