"Sometimes, in a busy city, you have to stop, look up, and let the sheer scale of the architecture take your breath away. This is a new piece from my San Luis Potosí Collection, and I want you to tell me what this incredible perspective makes you feel. This is my painting of the magnificent campanario, or bell tower, of the Templo de San Francisco. I chose this very low, dramatic angle, looking up from the bustling street, because I wanted you to feel its immense power and weight. It’s not just a building; it's a giant, reaching for that brilliant, sun-flared sky. I was so inspired by the light in this scene. You can feel the intense heat of the sun hitting that orange, textured stone, making it almost glow. My brushstrokes are thick and chaotic, especially on the tower, to capture the feeling of the ancient, weathered rock and the raw power of the sunlight.
