The Sailor’s Bonnet is a great Trad Irish reel which was recorded in a set of three tunes by Michael Coleman in the 1920s-1930s. This D major tune is generally played third in the set of three reels. One item to note about this melody is that the first part is generally played once whereas the second part is played twice.
