Live at 4:00 p.m. on the WIHSEA Twitch and YouTube channels, we will have #8 Wisconsin Lutheran Vikings vs #9 Hartford Union Orioles in a first-round, Division One playoff match. 🟣   / wihsea   • In Week Seven on Tuesday, Feb. 10, both engaged in an incredible best-of-five series that came down to the final eight seconds in Game Five's regulation period (five minutes). Vikings' Freshman Moxy2Cold drained in the deciding shot off an assist from teammate VernamForsaken to achieve the #8 seed and win 3-2. Although Hartford Union suffered a tough loss, their sophomore captain, K9, consistently gave his team a chance to keep up with the Vikings. The players to watch on either side will be K9 (Hartford Union) and Moxy2Cold (Wisco Lutheran). • K9 was pivotal in encouraging his team to come back in Game Two of last week's series as they were down 5-3. Evidently, the Orioles gained momentum and won 6-5, scoring three goals within the last minute and thirty seconds of regulation. • For Moxy, he recorded three goals in Game One to help Wisco Lutheran have an early series advantage. Additionally, he scored the series winning goal for the Vikings with eight seconds left in Game Five. [Regular Season Finishes For Both Teams] • Wisconsin Lutheran finished 9-5 overall with a 28-20 game record. Notable wins include Whitnall (3-1 in Week Six) and Hartford Union (3-2 in Week Seven).
