Mogwai, The Must-Listen Post-Rock Band, is Releasing New Album The Bad Fire

Mogwai is set to release their 11th album The Bad Fire on Friday / Thursday night, January 22nd. The Stuart Braithwaite led Scottish post-punk band is a phenomenal instrumental (mostly) band who's style can be considered slow-core, crescendo-core, or "quiet, loud, louder," is probably one of the most euphoric instrumental bands of the past 30 years. They have been around for a while and they have fans that prefer different parts of their catalog. Early Mogwai fans probably prefer their Mogwai: Young Team debut and Come On, Die Young sophomore album, while most fans seem to rally around Mr. Beast and The Hawk is Howling, their 5th and 6th albums. They have also created several film and TV scores and have a new documentary called If the Stars Had a Sound. Appropriate title! The Bad Fire is their 1st album since 2021's As the Love Continues and they have released the teaser singles God Gets You Back, Fanzine Made of Flesh and Lion Rumpus ahead of their The Bad Fire album release.
