Time Lapse of Tiny Tomatoes (Micro-Tom) from Seed to Fruit

This is a time lapse of a tiny "Micro-Tom" tomato plant from seed to fruit. The entire plant only grows about 8 inches (~20cm) tall. It's harder than you'd think to grow it under the specific conditions I needed for a consistent time lapse. It was very easy to over or under-water it, and both resulted in some of the leaves dying. The perfect amount of water also changed as the ambient environment and the size and stage of the plant's growth changed. I got it down pretty well near the end of the video, but by then the focus was on the fruits. I'd say that this variety seems much less hardy and drought-tolerant than other tomato varieties that I've grown. While the source files were far higher resolution than 4k, I decided to use the extra resolution to crop/pan. The time lapse was performed with LED grow lights synchronized with the cameras using a timer that I built, so even though the light looks continuous, there was a day and night cycle, causing the plant to seemingly dance in the video. Apologies for not eating the tomatoes at the end, and even letting some of them get overripe. I was hoping to show all of them ripen, but the last ones to ripen were really taking too long, and I wanted to move on. Videos are free to use for non-commercial purposes.
