You feel the spray of the sea and hear a crashed wave retreating over pebbles as sea foam dances along the beach. An osprey cries above, searching for fish. A lighthouse flashes from a nearby spit of land, jutting from the fog like one of the sea stacks just offshore. A visiting sea lion bobs lazily in the waves, spying on you with one eye. You wait for the tide to retreat, exposing the tide pools and the mysteries that live there. --- This album is an offshoot comfy synth album inspired by my home in the Pacific Northwest and my family's adventures along the coast. Several of the sounds in this album were sampled from my late grandmother's instruments and my son's toys.
