Elephant. Sludge music on an 8 string guitar

Messing around with my new 8 string Cort guitar. The guitar is fantastic, Unfortunately, I don’t have a new amplifier to go with it. It seems I only know how to use 6 of the strings so far, and my stubby fingers can barely stretch to find those low notes. So here is a Sludge track: ‘ELEPHANT’ in honor of the new instrument, which I can tune incredibly low!! Some notes on the guitar: • It’s not heavy at all, but resonates well. • I don’t even notice the fanned frets while playing, which is amazing. • The 28 inch scale length is LONG. Combined with the 2 extra strings, it’s like learning a new instrument. • I had to order a new set of strings – it needs at least an 80 gauge, preferably more, to sound good. • The Fishman modern pickups are really clear. You can also get a lot of attack on one of the settings. I like them a lot.
